Default Problem executing program, missing libraries?

Cannot find file C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\Desktop\PC Probe\SETUP.exe (or one of its components). Check to ensure the path and file name are correct and that all required libraries are available.

any ideas?
thanks

Where is setup.exe now? Did you delete it from your desktop?

It looks like a version that is not comaptible with your current OS, maybe it was for an older Windows 95/98/2000 version.

no, if it were't compatible with XP, it would say that

try moving it to a different directory, or re-downloading it

not necessarily it could still be the case even if very slim.

even if it didn't say directly "wrong OS version" it wouldn't give you that error

Actually looking at the error again it almost seems like some type of DOS error..such as the 8 character limit aka shortname...kind of weird thats about the only time you get a refference to a file with a ~ sign I doubt thats at all related, but it came to my mind while staring at the error for some reason.

I would agree with apokalipse and move it to another directory try the root of the C: with a short folder name so something like C:\probe and see what that does this way you dont have a long file name standard and meet the short file name if that is even realted I may be way off in left field here
