I have a printer, the HP DesignJet 430, and AutoCad 2002. Actually, they are my mom's. Anyway, I cannot get the printer to work properly with Autocad. I have the updated drivers straight from HP, but the plotter refuses to let them load. It loads these 'Emulated Driver' in which case it takes FOREVER to send to the printer, and, at times, only prints parts of the drawing. Does anybody else have this problem? I also had the same problem with AutoCad Release 14. I hate printers, and they give you nothing but heartache. Also, within the printer properties, where I select the paper size and all of that good stuff, it will not keep the settings I choose. Every time I go to print, I have to reselect all the settings. Please help, please.
