Well for starters, I know that my motherboard is faulty in more ways than one, so keep this in mind.

Anytime I try to do anything with my printer through windows (go to the print menu through notepad) or go to printers and faxes, etc. The process ends up hanging and never responding. Is there anyway I can try to fix this problem, I've done everything I can think of including reinstalling drivers, checking to make sure my printer works on other computers, etc., but this isn't going away. Also, I noticed when I plug in 4 USB drivers into my motherboard, things really start to go haywire. Do you think it is just my motherboard's fault as to why this is happening, or would there be a way to get around this problem on my XP machine?

Thanks in advance.

Have you checked the Print Spooler Service to make sure it is working?

Have you tried it with just the Printer attached via USB and nothing else?

Honestly i could tell you then. It maybe that the mobo cant handle it cause of the issues you have with it. Have you tried a different cable? That is like the only thing i can think of without trying the printer on a different mobo to make sure it works.
