....or shadow copies, whatever you want to call it. If you upgraded from 7 to 10 check your settings for system restore. If you look on the folder properties you will see previous versions available and it seems to be working, but it is actually shut off. (at least for me it was) when you go to this pc / properties/ system restore everything will be grayed out and off. once you turn on the C drive then you will be able to turn it on for data drives.
