Powerpoint Animations

I'm doing this very large powerpoint presentation for a friend of mine (170 slides) and he is presenting it to a classroom. I want to have some good animations, non cheesy looking ones, keep it as professional as possible. I was working on it one day, and, I dont know how I did this, I somehow viewed the master slide layout for the custom animations and copied the animation scheme from one slide to the whole project. So now every slide has the same animation scheme as this one slide. I didnt mind that, it was a very useful thing, time saving too. My problem is I cant figure out how I did that, and I want to do t again only with another animation. Can someone tell me who to do this? I am using Power Point 2003.
