I've checked it out. To see the POST during bootup, enter BIOS (click the F2, F11 or F12 button), and if your Setup Utility is also by Phoenix, go to the Main tab, scroll down and locate the Quiet Boot then disable it. The manufacturer's logo will now be replaced by POST.


Edit: I just realised that the Thinkpad also boot up with IBM logo without POST.
