Default is it possible to remove/delete a control panel icon?

ok to begin with, i installed this "essentials codecs" pack.

now i notice that i have a icon in my control panel called Mpeg layer-333 configration.

i double click on it, it says
"This program is only valid for divX version of the mp3 Radium's Codec!'

so pretty much, i uninstalled all the codecs i could possibly find on my computer, and the icon is still there,

is there any way i can get rid of this?

or does anyone know what i gotta uninstall to get rid of it?

thanks in advance,

U'll find a .cpl file in the System32 directory ... just run a search if u wanna list all of 'em

Just find the file with a similar name to the icon on control panel... Just delete it or just move it to some other location ..
The icon will be gone ..
If u want it again ..move it back to the system32 dirctory
Screenshots of my Desktop.....Post ur\'s too :D
