Is there a way to change the color of my taskbar to something else besides blue?

i found where i can change it 2 olive green or silver, but is there a way to create a custome color for it?

Which taskbar? Are you talking about the one at the top of all the Windows windows? Thats easy, if that is your questions. Right click on your desktop, go down to properties, then click on appearance. From there, scheme is your baby. Play with that, have some fun, if thats what you were talking about anyway.

You dont even need that if you have an nVidia card. You can go into nView driver properties and set the taskbar transparency from there.

i found the silver, olive green , or default blue option under the "display properties", "appearance" tab. but is there a way to have more colors than just these 3, besides the transparent one?

there's a way around to change some colors of your desktop into registry :

start -> run -> regedit -> HKEY_USERS/control panel/Colors

you should be familiar with regedit and understand the binary values to change colors.
