please help

i just finished building my PC. and when i turn it on for the first time and i put the windows XP pro. all goes weel and then i get for aabout 2 mintes. and i get this message.

"setup did not find any hard disk drive installed in you PC"

please tell me what is the problem and how to fix it.

You might not have the jumper installed correctly, cables might not be fully connected.

do you have PATA or SATA Hard drives ?

you may have to go into your bios set up and enable your hard drives

I had to set my bios back to default settings

Edit: Heh I thought he solved it. Well let me know if it turns out to be the bios.

I think his prob was his bios, i think he set it back to default

not sure though till we hear it from the horses mouth
