Default Photoshop error.

After a reinstall of Windows, Photoshop no longer works for me.
Which I find odd because Flash works perfectly fine.

I've tried reinstalling, but it still gives me the same error.

I've tried deleting the old registries of Photoshop and then reinstalling, but the same error comes up.

Could someone help me, I'd hate to be stuck with MS Paint.

could you be more specific on the error? like does it have a code attached to it, or something to make it distinct? or does it just say something generic like "program error"

Default Re: Photoshop error.

This is Photoshop CS3, on Windows XP Professional.

The error message is simply "Photoshop could not be installized, try reinstalling to fix this problem or contact Adobe blah blah"
