I got more RAM today and the guy who fixed the comp also updated my BIOS. Now when I start the comp I get a 'Found new hardware' message to install drivers for PCI simple communications controller. My motherboard is Asus m2n-sli deluxe.. I updated the chipset but still get this message.
Anyone know where I can get the driver from?

thanks

Hello,

This could be anything from a Modem to a sound card. I would check for updates to all your PCI devices.

Hello,

Go to the device manufacturer's home page and make sure you ahve the latest driver. In the Device Manager double clicking on your device will show you a window that tells you the date of the driver along with the version. Check that against their site to see if you have the latest.

This is the best way to know if you have the latest set of drivers. If you are missing yoru modem when you know you have one connected that is the PCI Simple Communications Controller Driver you are missing and you have to go to the Modem's manufacturer website to get the latest driver for your OS.
