PC wipe without CD.

Quick question:

Is there anyway to get windows for free again if you wipe your entire laptop?

It was bought with windows on it, obviously, but it didn't come with a backup CD. If I got my hands on another CD is there anyway to use the product key that I've already paid for when purchasing the laptop?

i think you can use the key but you can also reset to factory defaults settings if it has the option it should. that will clean it out and restore it like you just got it from the store.

What version of Windows is this?

If it's Windows 7, then download the ISO that matches the product key you have:
