PC running noticeably slower, ran some tests...

Hello,

Lately my PC has been slower...most noticeably in the windows startup, opening browsers, etc.

I am running XP SP3

Today, I did:

CCLeaner (registry cleaned, browser clean, etc, etc. everything in CCLeaner)
MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware scan
AVG Anti-Virus scan
Ad-Aware scan
Disk Defrag (windows utility)
Scandisk (Windows utility)

I've also got very minimal startup programs (atleast what I can see from msconfig).

Anything else I should do to clean this up and have a faster PC?

The only other thing you can do is Defrag the system. Make sure that your temps are decent as well. You did all the major stuff that can be done. Other than these last 2 items the only other thing could be remove software that you really dont use.

Are you running AVG,Ad Aware and Malwarebytes at start up or are they the free versions?
I would try Argente registry cleaner which is the safest reg cleaner i have tested and maybe try Advanced System Care free version aswell, you will find both on a google search.
