Default PC-phone phone calls

I'm looking for software that would let me call people from my computer. Most of the software for this is for newer versions of Windows though; I only have Win 9x. Any ideas?

Have you looked into Skype? They currently allow you to make outgoing calls to the US for free.

EDIT: Sorry, looks like Skype is for Windows 2000/XP also

If you installed Linux, it'd be completely possible to use Skype...hehehe

Yahoo is cheaper. It is only 1 Cent. for most local and international calls.
! cent to US, Canada, London.
1.5 Cent to Madrid.

But of course if you talk a lot it can add up.

I don't know if icall works with win98, but it is FREE. I have it installed on my computer and it works just fine. FREE. but I called my own Phone with this software and I'm not sure if it is just the phone or what, but on the phone, my voice would echo, but it wouldn't for the computer using icall.
