Can any of you tell me what is the meaning of Temp3 and Core ?

What motherboard do you have? What processor? Do you have a manual for the motherboard?

cpu is Amd 64 Athlon 2800+ and k8m8ms motherboard.

More importantly... what heat-sink do you have?
Upgrading your heat-sink/cpu fan combo helps tremendously, and is relatively cheap.
