Default pc format help please

I have windows XP on my PC and i want to format it and re-install the windows ( i have the windows xp cd ) . I dont want anything to be saved just a clean format and re-install the windows again.

Can please give me a simple step to step guide how to do this?

I know its easy but could someone help me out?

1)Enter BIOS and set it to boot from the CD-ROM first.
2)Insert Windows cd and follow the instructions.
3)Complete installation

a little mroe on that would be

1, enter BIOS set to boto from CD
2, put disk in and boot
3, start sintallation
4, chose to delete existign partition
5, create a new partition
6, format in FAT32 or NTFS
7, create partition
8, select the partition

Save any files that you may need later on, like pictures, videos, documents, favorites, etc.
