i'm trying to make a set password for a folder to be viewed.... i'm tired of my stupid friend torrenting things without asking me so i don't want him to be able to access utorrent..
.
is it possible to do this?

I think it's wholly possible to do I rember a program called encrypted magic folders that had the ability to say password protect an hide a program.

I think you might even to be able to install it as a portable app inside a true crypt volume, might be worth looking into.

So set it up with 2 user accounts and dont allow his limited account access to µTorrent. Problem solved without trying to password protect a single exe file.

Makes life much simplier rather than trying to find a way to encrypt a folder and allow it to still be used without problems.

This way you can have it set so that once the screen saver comes on it takes you back to the User Account screen instead of the last user account.

That will prevent him from gaining access to your account if you forget to log out.

Also make sure to password protect the Admin account for Safe Mode as well. So he doesnt try to bypass that as well.
