can a nyone help with geting pass a windows nt password its a dell laptop bouth it used and the guy forgot the password

I do not belive I can help you with the password,I don't think that is allowed.However there is some password finders on the net,that is all I am going to say.
Is this your laptop?

no cousin bought it from a coworker who just put it in the closet for a year and forgot the password but if he reformats it wiull it go away

Yes if you do a reformat, reinstall it will be a fresh OS with the password that you set for it.

Google it and you might find something. However, I suggest you format anyway and start from stratch. You'll only need to get hold of an OS .

If you don't want to go through the expense, you could just format and ebay for an OS like Windows 2000, or even XP if it can handle it.

What are the specs...?
