Default partition help

Hey im trying to create another partition on my hard drive using Partition Magic 8.0 but it fails and says too many errors to continue. I have tried scanning my disk for adware/sypware and viruses using up to date definition files and have also Defragged the drive. What else can I do to make this work or can I get another program that will make me a new partition?

You need to update the program.

ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/englis...gic_8/updates/

Download pm801_patch.zip and ENPM801_H1.ZIP

Extract the update.exe from pm801_patch.zip to the partitionmagic directory and run it then follow the instruction in enpm801_h1.zip and make sure you also replace pqmagic.ovl to the DOS folder inside the partitionmagic directory.
