Default Partition Creation

a newb question: can I use the freeware cute partition manager to create a hardrive partition without losing my OS/Programs/Data or will the partition overwrite some of it? Is there any freeware/shareware utility that can do this?

Yes you indeed won't loose any data with Partition Magic, but you never know, backup important files of yours.

Nothing beats PM. It is the best. I think Acronis has software to do this as well. The best applications to do this with are all gonna cost $$. The freeware option isnt hte best route to go here.
