Very strange discussion, really!!!.....my page file has been running at 64 megs forever. I run a page file history. I have only seen 1 instance in the past 6 months where the page file demanded any fault usage and that was when I was editing a 1 gig multitrack session in Adobe Audtition. I have 2 gigs of DC DDR 400. So, again, it is an issue of on-baord system memory. All the information found above, especially the long thesis written by Warez
are true enough...however, with large amount of Ram on home PC's that do not have heavy memory laiden applications running, leaves the issue an academic one only. But then, academics is a good thang too!!
