Soulseek is a p2p prog. It's a complete piece of crap which is extremely slow and has a limited amount of files unlike bittorrent.

but for music, it is better than kazaa, imesh, limewire and the like. free, easy to use, no popups or ad/spyware like most other p2p clients, but yes, bittorrent pwns soulseek.

Soulseek isn't for the average user. You have to sort of learn it's quirks so you can get the most out of it. Once you get a feel for the prog, it works very good. I stay away from torrents because I know a lot of people that are getting busted for that.

i always thought using torrents was safer than using your basic P2P clients.
