I tried to set up a small but fast Windows98 as an email terminal for different users. But
no matter what kind of login I choose in the network settings, Outlook2000 always uses
the same environment (mail accounts etc).

Is there a way to make it distinguish between different users? (User authentication is done
on a Windows NT PDC, Mail is on a Linux POP3) With NT/2000 this would work fine, but it takes
too long to boot the OS :-(

if its loading the users profile fro mthe pdc then the email settings will be theres (surely!!?) i had a similair problem with windows 98 but it waznt networked to anything try changine the local mailbox store for each user and then log on as a different user and see i its using the new mail box store or if its using the other one.

Sorry if you donty understand i will try to elaborate when im a bit more sober! :)
