Outlook xp contacts to outlook 2007?

I used to have Outlook XP on my old XP OS and I backed up the whole drive to my external hard drive. I now have installed Windows Vista Ultimate and Microsoft Outlook 2007. I want my old contacts back from Outlook XP to my new Outlook 2007. I'm thinking its somewhere in the application data.

you needed to export your contacts from XP to either a CSV or a PST

tha's the only way i've ever done it..not sure where it is actually stored
