Aim doesnt connect correctly to Outlook or Outlook express. There is a 3rd party plug in to get Yahoo to work. I think EricB knows it off hand i dont.

As for Aim good luck. I have tried to hook that to my Outlook, Outlook Express and my Thunderbird for about 3 months now with no luck. It just doesnt like the POP/SMTP setup.

is there a difference between aol and aim or what? I have AOL email using my outlook 2003 and it works just fine, no third party plugin

Yes. Go to Aim.com and you will see that they have their own email now. It is a 2GB storage just like gmail. But they dont have any options for the POP/SMTP setup.

I guess I'll scratch on the AIM and Yahoo unless someone can chime in on how to link the Yahoo accounts

I still cant get my AOL accounts to link up

I shall keep trying
