Outlook 2003 not showing mail Content

I just reinstalled outlook 2003 this morning.
After sending myself a test email from my online account, I receive the message but no content shows up.

I've played around with ALL the settings...from HTML to plain test, security settings to zero, displaying and not displaying images and HTML....

nothing.

I can access the mail from webmail, just not on my PC. My second PC has Outlook as well and everything is working fine.

Ideas?

Ive just tried using the email account on the second PC and it works just fine.... it seems this problem is only confined to the one PC.

Can no one help?

seems like AVG is the culprit.

changed some ports around and it seems to be working now.
