Outlook 2003, import contacts from Excel

hi,

I try to import contacts from Excel but I get an error message
(the records are in columns, each column a field)...

In addition I tried something else:
1) I create a record in Contacts
2) Export this in a Excel file
3) Pasted the records from my file
4) Import in Outlook
5) PROBLEM. Only the first record was imported

to overcome this I created 180 Contacts and again steps 2,3,4,5
and it was ok....

This doesn't seem right is there any other way, method. Some rules and conditions i should know?

export your contacts folder to a pst file instead. import the file in outlook.
