Default outlook 2003

The other day i upgraded from office 2000 to office 2003. Now every time i click on something in outlook a box pops up and askes me for my username and password. I put the correct username and password in and tell it to save the password and a little while later it comes back. I am connecting to two email accounts through my outlook, one of which is roadrunner and the other is execpc. I do not have a problem sending or receiving messages, so i am connected but i cant get rid of the password box.

enable cached mode and see if that does anything for you... Might be that the credntials are not storing and so when you attempt to view something, it's requesting it from the server again. I'll see if I can find anything more helpfull...

you should also check out your settings under this account. If you have SMTP server that also requires a logon make sure this box is checked under "advanced settings" alot of times this message will pop up becuase this box is not highlighted
