is IBM OS/2 even in use anymore? I see it in WINDOWS XP once in a while, mentioned about drivers or something and its been nagging me all day on whether the damn thing exists anymore.

And, the more I think about it the more I wanna try using it. Is it worth it?

OS/2 isnt worth trying and it would be hard pressed to get it working on any of today's machines. The OS itself hasnt been updated in over 11 years and as such there will be no support for Dual/Quad Core CPU's let alone any other hardware. At most you would be able to try it on an older Pentium machine.

OS/2 can be ran on most all VM's.... And most motherboards STILL offer OS/2 support in the BIOS, I assume it limits the system to OS/2 capable devices. No point in playing with OS/2 unless you work on ATM's, and older equipment.

Fun fact - I have no new computers :D

Heck my stuff is so old, I would expect to be in posession of a NeXTstation sooner or later.

Also: sorry for being somewhat brash mindover_master, had a bad day D:
