ok check the doc kit for your pc see if it mentions anything about formatting......also DO NOT GO WITH WIN98 because with 3+ghz processor and >256mb of ram win98 would be a waste......but should have an option for a format

yeah 98 and me are out i would say keep XP just find the doc kit also what type of dell is it??

bloody hell, I went here a couple of hours ago and it only had 2 posts, i thought it would be fixed by then.. lol
you can use the 98 CD just to format, you don't have to Install 98
