Windows 2000 was actually going to be called Windows NT5 but they named it 2000 for marketing reasons. So 2000 is more of a business type environment operating system whereas ME is for home use.

hm.. wow SHAWN- thats a nice professional-looking signature. i kno other ppl have em, but urs sure looks nice (partly because of the nice rig pic). I think i'm going to have to make myself one of those.

I tripple boot with windows XP and two distros of linux and i also have a Powerbook G4 for programming and what not.

Oh boy...I have a 386 running MS-DOS 6.22, a Apple G4 with Mac OS X 10.3, and a tripleboot PC with Windows 98, 2000, and SUSE Linux.
