what is the difference between windows 2000 and ME? doesn't ME stand for millenium edition and isn't the last millenium the year 2000? so did microsoft release two OS's that year?

They are totally different. They release Win2000 first I believe.

LongHorn is the new Windows OS. Will be released in 2006.
Has been around for a few years already.

yes i think they did release 2000 first. it is strange that they would name them similarly though- i agree.

YES, ohGrFreak- ME SUCKS!! I had it on an old Hewlett Packard years ago, and it was very bad. Everyone on earth, i think, has come to a consensual agreement on the subject. Windows 2000, however, I have never used.
