I use it all the time. The last time I did a project in Word it kept locking up, and I haven't been back to Office since.

I use openoffice as well, looking foward to upgrading to a 2.0 NON BETA

I used it for a while until I found out about the MS Office student discount. Needless to say, it did what it was supposed to do, so it's alright in my book. It was a nice little program to use for a while, but I prefer Word.

after i lost my copy of office xp, i downloaded it and i havnt gone back.

always thought about switching over.

I use openoffice for linux. If you use linux there is also koffice, but I think openoffice is better. I like it much better than ms's crap.

i have had bad experience with BETA, msn beta screwed up my old computer, so i would download the old openoffice. However, i currently own office 03 pro.
