Default Omega Drivers?

I am in the process of downloading these because I heard that they are better than the catalyst drivers. What are your opinions?

Omega drivers bring a lot of functionality and corrections to Catalyst.

It seems the issue on Omega/Catalyst is a 50/50 thing. Some will swear by it, some hate it. You'll probably just have to try it out and see if you like it or not.

is it something you can just uninstall, or do you have to uninstall everything that has to do with ATi and start over? I kinda want to use it, but if it hurts performance, I don't want to reinstall everything (catalyst, ati cp, all the stuff on the ATi cd)
