Default Ok to install multiple .Net versions (1.1, 2.0 etc..)?

When some apps install they say they need .Net 1.1 or whatever. The latest is 3.0 or 3.5 I think.

Anyway, I have 3.0 installed, so if an app wants to install 1.1 is that OK or will the different versions clash?

Whatever it is, it's a crap system.

Any help appreciated, cheers.

I have from version 1.0 to 3.5 installed with no problem. With all eh updates and security patches. It will be no problem to isntall any other one. I have installed .NET 1.1 on Vista to allow for some things like Yahoo IM to work correctly.

Yeah it's probably fine, just a really strange way to update software.

Good to know from someone who has it working, cheers mate.
