Hackers Claim Zero-Day Flaw in Firefox
It seems like we canÂ’t have a day pass anymore about hearing some news about a critical this or that. TodayÂ’s exploit comes to us from the JavaScript handlers in FireFox which could allow a hacker to get a hold of your precious data, steal all your food, run your car out of gas, and even turn your lights on and offÂ….ok so IÂ’m stretching a little bit but you get the point.

An attacker could commandeer a computer running the browser simply by crafting a Web page that contains some malicious JavaScript code, Mischa Spiegelmock and Andrew Wbeelsoi said in a presentation at the ToorCon hacker conference here. The flaw affects Firefox on Windows, Apple Computer's Mac OS X and Linux, they said.

posting these flaws isn't gonna stop Firefox users from using Firefox just like you wont stop using IE if i where to post flaws for it.

this will not save you all from everything......

Its only for JavaScript and Java execution for trusted domains of your choice

It'll be fixed in a matter of hours once the first exploit occurs.

it's a way to make your browser more secure. you choose what site to let what though. you have option of letting scripts for the original site and script for the fools (and the other bs lurking) in the background. if you have a lick of common sense, you can tell what to allow and what not to let though
