Default office 97

I typed a document in MSWord and saved it in a diskette. When i tried to open the document after a few minutes on the same computer it complained that the document is exclusively opened by another user and asked me a question if i want to open a copy of the document. The document was not previously opened in another window.
Help me please what is the cause of the problem

That means it is still open, or there is someone else reading it.

Your floppy might be damaged,

Ricer: from the latin word Ricarius meaning to suck at everything you attempt.
