Hi guys,

I've gotten the BSoD twice in the last few days. I'm been having problems since last week when the Boaxxe.E trojan found it's way onto my computer (through a torrent I THINK!). I also had a problem with 'AntiMalware Doctor' coupled with this virus.

I seemed to get rid of them both - virus scans since have given the all clear.

Ever since though the laptop is running slower. Sometimes it crashes in the middle of start up, and brings me to the black screen that gives you the different options for start up. Today however I got the blue screen of death.

I used BlueScreenView to see where the problem was and I got this:

I'm on an Acer Aspire 5310, running Windows 7, with 1.5GB RAM. Any help is appreciated, I've gotten overwhelmed when I've searched this topic on google.

I haven't actually, I don't have the disk with me, and won't have for a few days.

I dunno is it worth mentioning that lately it's overheating quite a bit?

Cant repair Win7 installs. There is no option for that like there was for XP. The issue is with the NTKernel which is the heart of the OS. The infection did corrupt the Kernel which is now causing you issues. Sorry but your best choice is going to be backup and reinstall.
