Im sorry if this has been posted before, but i am dying.
My computer has been plauged by "Disk read errors"... could be 30 minutes into a reformatt, or 2 weeks after I do it. I even swapped the Seagate for a Western Digital HD. This didn't fix it.
Doing a little more research I have found quite a few people who have had the same problem, and after having hardware / software checked out found out it was the NTFS File systems stability, they reformatted to FAT32, and said their problems went away.
Is there ANY reason I shouldnt format in FAT32 ? Besides slightly slower load times from HD (not concered about split second differences) can this cause any problems ? Im willing to try anything, this brand new computer is frustrating as ****, 6 reformats in under 4 months. 2 HD's, 3 Shop visits.
