Default Notify when client connect in XP

Hi, I have a question regarding the possibility to be notified when a client connect to my computer.

I have shared folders and hard disks for special users. I can see that they are connected in Computer Management (Administrative tools).

Is there any way that I can be notified when a user connect? A sound or a popup message.

Perhaps a program that has this feature?

on a server operating system this would be a basic management function. for network operating systems like win2k or winxp i think you may be abkle to track users by adding a counter in administrative tools> performance. here is what it looks like:

Thanks for the answer - but it's not that I'm searching for. I'm looking for at way to immediately be notified, when a client connect to my computer...
