I don't think thats it. I just downloaded the driver becaue I just built the computer. Should I stilld do it?

Was the driver working correctly before the update? If so then i would say yes.

Unfortunately I didn't check. CAn you think of anything else if that doesn't work? Right now i'm downloading SP3, I don't know if that will make a differnce.

The only other thing would be a conflict with a router or modem. I read that you jsut got comcast to hook up the new cable connection. Do you use a router as well? Did you unplug the modem when you hooked up the router so that you could get the 2 to recognize each other? That would be my only other guess.

No router. Come to think of it, I can try recycling the modem.

Try that could also be a firewall issue.
