Default Not enough space to install

The message I get is:
There is not enough space to install these option(s). Please free up some disk space or modify your selections.

Running Windows ME
750mb/1100mb used on the C: drive. Can't free up anymore space on it since it's the OS.
Already tried changing my temp folder to D: but no help.

I have about 6GB free on D: drive. The program takes about 700mb.
NOTE: I don't even get to the part where i get to choose a directory to install into.

So, is there any other way for me to install this program without getingt a new hard drive or repartitioning?

If you want to free up some space, try this :

Move the virtual memory (swap file) to the d drive - go to control panel > system > performance > virtual memory. Click 'specify own settings' and select drive D: and reboot.

Defrag the C drive

Clear out the temporary internet files cache (control panel > internet options > delete files)
