Should Norton Ghost be ran from a floppy or CD?


I have it on a floppy and didn't know if I should run it from a CD.

What version of Norton's Ghost did you purchase?

I have Ghost 10. You need to install it from the CD and have a separate HDD to image recovery points to. Ghost 10 is 83.7MB

Yep, that is the one that I have. I have heard of some people using one off of a 3.5. I don't know how when it is such a bigger program....HMMMMM.

That version can be put on a floppy. Sort of. You create a floppy using the Ghost program that you use to clone one drive from another. You slave the new drive into the box, boot to the floppy, and clone. I forget the exact steps to create the floppy.
