No switch user sounds

Hi,
I have Windows XP Professional, and I am very annoyed by the fact that when I switch users, there is no sound "to go with it". This is not a major issue, but it just annoys me. I checked the settings under Control Panel and all sounds are set correctly. Every other sound works fine (shutdown, etc.): it's only the switch users sounds that are missing. I hope that anyone will have a solution!

Are you using onboard sound ?

People have taken care of this by updating drivers.
Does your " Log Off " option play music ?

it ended up that it was some registry problem
