Question No Send/receive Button On Ms Outlook

Okay, I know i have seen this problem before, but I can not remember for the life of me how you solve it.

MS OUTLOOK XP does not have any SEND/RECEIVE button. And SEND/RECEIVE is missing from the TOOLS menu.

And if you try to create new email, the SEND button is missing too.

As I remember, reinstalling OUTLOOK does not do any thing. So I am going ot be need some other suggestions.

Try deleting outcmd.dat. That file controls the Outlook toolbars and if you delete it, it sould reset the toolbars and bring back the missing buttons.

It's the first option i would try (dunno if you've already done this) but right click on any of the tool bars and click options. You will then get the option to add the buttons back in, plus a few more that you wouln't normally see. You can also create custom toolbars as well.

In outlook XP it would be on the file menu. This is part of the standard tool bar sooo..

VIEW>TOOLBARS>STANDARD just make sure the STANDARD toolbar is selceted and looks pushed in with a check mark.
