Hey all, I'm wondering if this is normal. On my notebook, which is with windows xp pro, there's no "run" command on the start bar.... this isn't right, is it? My home pc, which uses xp home edition, has one...

Did the later edition move it? Is there a way I can retrieve it?

its really simple...

right-click on the taskbar (dialog box should appear)
click start menu or classic start menu (your choice)
click customize on either one...and search for the run command in the list!

What happens when you press "Windows Key + R"? do you get the run dialog?
is this a coperate machine?

run should be there no matter what as it's part of the startmenu system, uless there is a GP to remove it.

Ah, found problem.

Tallman, i know what you're sayin, I tried that before; problem is it's been removed from the list ^_~

Inaris, your method worked too, though access to it has been restricted while I'm trapped in the school network. Should work when I get home though ;) . Thanks guys.
