No os

My wife's PC on boot up say's it has no OS.Now when I go into the bios not changing anything in the bios and exit directly windows will load .Why is this happening?

What is the boot order set to in the BIOS? Is it set to boot off of the drive that Windows is installed on?

Hard drive cd rom floppy disk and network boot in this order

bad hd? try updating chipset drivers.
what drive do you have?
3 month old wd 80gb.
Test it with a drive utility program.

Thanks for the info and I will use one thread per issue in the future.I think the hard drive is going bad already.I put another drive in it and it ran fine after the configuration was done and booted properly.The hard drive must not be recognized do to this
