Active Desktop Command Is Not on the Shortcut Menu When You Right-Click the Desktop
The information in this article applies to:
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
Microsoft Windows XP Professional

Symptoms
When you right-click a blank area on the desktop on a computer that runs Windows XP Personal or Professional, the shortcut menu does not display the Active Desktop command.
Cause
This issue occurs because the command has been removed from Windows XP Personal and Windows XP Professional, due to the fact that the Active Desktop feature is always turned on.

How do I correct this problem and restore the command?

Thanks, Damian M.

It is always on by default. If you want to turn it off or see if it is on you could download Xteq-Setup. It's a tweaking program that allows you to manipulate windows.

www.xteq.com/products/xset

Look under Appearance-->Desktop-->Active Desktop
