i am using HP pavilion pc.
actually i have successfully fixed the problem. i went to the HP site and found some guidelines in fixing the problem without having to wait for the CD.
but now i face another problem; many of those data files can't be recovered. i have tried using 'search' option but still i failed. what makes me believe that i can still recover the data files is that my free space before and after system recovery don't differ too much.
to make it clear, i got like 2 GB of free space before system recovery. after system recovery, i only left with about 500 MB. the total space is 143 GB.
i am afraid to use the system restore, i might face any big problem. is there any way i can search the data? or i should use system restore instead? any software...
