New windows,no sound!

Well, i re-installed windows(again)

but this time everything's good, except...no sound!
my friend said i need to download a sound card.

Any idea how to get the sounds working?

My computer is Compaq Presario SR1030NX.
well, at least thats what it says on my computer..
